I posted these two small 12x12x2" acrylic on gallery wrapped canvases on Facebook and found that 70% of my friends liked the birds and 30% liked the calla lilies for a wedding gift. My family didn't like either and chose a different painting of a dolphin! Go figure!
The calla Lilies were finally chosen as they were the flowers in the wedding! (How lucky was that?).
ReplyDeleteMy aunt who was quite the artist in her hayday (she's 101 yrs old now) loved my bird painting, so I gave it to her! She was thrilled! Made my day! Turns out she took watercolor classes from Ron Ranson....we had a long chat about that.....
